S.E. Rochelle Exhibit Opening

Join us on Friday, August 9th from 6-8PM for the opening of our final community curated exhibit, S.E. Rochelle. This exhibit will examine the life of Sidney Edgar “S.E.” Rochelle (1878-1960) who was a veteran, an entrepreneur and motorcycle enthusiast born and raised in Durham, NC.

In the early 20th century, Rochelle established a motorcycle community in Durham whose passion can still be seen today through Ton Up NC, the exhibit’s community curators and local non-profit organization whose mission is to bring people together to enjoy the rolling artwork of vintage motorcycles. This exhibit will run through Sept. 2nd and will correspond with Ton Up NC’s annual Bull City Rumble event!
