2nd Annual Festival of Nations, Hosted by Sister Cities of Durham

Durham 150 Grantee

Discover the diverse cultures of Durham’s vibrant global community! This is SCD’s 2nd Annual Festival of Nations. This year’s festival is dedicated to the Durham 150. Have fun and share in the culture of these countries!

Tanzania, England, Greece, Russia, Japan, China, Mexico, Costa Rica, Romania, Argentina, India, Morocco, Norway, Sweden, Denmark

Performing Groups will include Japanese Triangle Choir Club, Scandimonium Nordic Folk Dance Music, Tango Formodo, Costa Rica Association Dancers, Crescent Chinese Music Studio, Chapel Hill Chinese Folk Dance Club, Chinese Drums & Dragon Dance, and Chapel Hill Shotokan Karate Dojo, Triangle Taika Japanese Traditional Drummers, and the Cane Creek Cloggers.

Food Vendors will be selling foods representing these countries:
Argentina, China, Costa Rica,  Greece, Guatemala, Japan, Mexico, Morocco/Persian/India, and Tanzania,

Admission is $5. Children under 12 are free
